S.O.D. "Echo Beach" by Martha and the Muffins

 This new wave, punk-funk group is still active, getting their start in Ontario in 1977.  This was their biggest hit, and the only one to chart internationally.  Today, the group is a duo with Martha Johnson on keyboards and lead vocals, and Mark Gane, “Echo Beach” composer on guitars.
