8/21/2021 This became the official Maine state song in 2019. It celebrates the 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment and popular first sergeant Andrew Jackson Tozier Sr. Tozier was awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery at the battle of Gettysburg.
