He toured with Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and a few others.  Rockabilly is his main genre and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame recognizes him.  He is most famous however for denying a place in his band for an 18-year-old Elvis Presley.
