7/24/2017      Written by composer, arranger, and jazz trumpeter, Andy Gibson in the early to mid 40s, it was recorded by numerous artists including Chubby Checker, Otis Redding and Bo Diddley.  Known as a jazz and R&B dance song, it helped pave the way for Rock & Roll.  Let's go with Chubby Checker's version.
