S.O.D. "Butterfly" by Crazy Town

8/2/2016     This rap rock/rap metal/alternative rock band, forming in Los Angeles in 1995, scored an international hit with this 2000 rap rock release. Earning gold and platinum certifications around the world, it charted in 18 countries taking the #1 spot in 15 including the U.S.  The tune was written by bandmates Seth Binzer and Bret Mazur along with Flea and John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  It was ranked #3 on the list of the Best One-Hit Wonders of the 2000's compiled by Billboard, and VH1 placed it at #34 on their Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever list.
