7/17/2022 Among the 22 musicians that joined Howlin’ Wolf (Chester Burnett) for the making of this album, entitled Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon provided some vocals and bass guitar. He also wrote every song on the album. It would be extremely difficult to find a more widespread collaboration of musicians other than the early bluesmen of the South. Howlin’ Wolf always brought the house down, and many times even scared his audience.

You will most likely never hear the name Greg Munford anywhere in the music business except regarding this song. Attending the recording session as a visitor and friend of the band, he ended up singing the lead vocals that day due to the band members’ different views of the lyrics. 7/8/2022 This released single is from the 1981 album, “Allied Forces,” and along with the song “Magic Power,” were the two mega hits that drove the album’s success. The album remains the Canadian hard rock group’s signature record. The group disbanded in 1993 after an 18 year tenure. Their philanthropy lives on today through a signed guitar program that has raised many thousands of dollars. Yes, these are good guys, and in 2011 they donated their entire music and business archives to the University of Toronto.
