The song, also known as “The Chase,” went to #33 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was popular on the disco scene. At 82, The composer, songwriter, and record producer, wait, let’s not forget master of the synthesizer, is still rolling out the tunes. In October 2021 he shared a studio with Duran Duran, producing and co-writing two of their songs.

S.O.D. "Never Trust a man" by Adam and the Ants

8/18/2022 From their 1979 debut album, “Dirk Wears White Socks.” The album took the #1 spot on the UK Independent Albums (Record Business) chart. The band was short-lived, lasting from 1977 to 1982. Some of the members formed the new wave band Bow Wow Wow, which is still active. Stuart Leslie Goddard (Adam Ant), slipped into a successful musical solo career as well as acting.

8/9/2022 This singer songwriter and guitarist was mainly into the songwriting part of the business. He did not release much, although was active for 66 years. Seems that he more preferred odd songs to perform. As a teenager he wrote the poem “A Rose and a Baby Ruth,” which became a popular song, later performed by George Hamilton IV. It reached the top 10 in a few different US charts. Loudermilk also went by the names, Johnny Dee and Ebe Sneezer.

S.O.D. It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels" by Kitty Wells

8/8/2022 At 92, this country legend just left us in 2012. Nicknamed the Queen of Country Music, and paving the way for many female artists in country music and beyond. Wells is the first female artist to do many things, including headlining a major tour. That really says a lot. Also among her achievements is being inducted into the Native American Music Hall of Fame in 2002. That honor doesn’t come up much.
