2/21/2022 This incredible trumpeter and vocalist is a part of more than 200 works, either as band leader or side man. Among his honors and achievements are the keys to several cities, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement award, Honorary Doctorates from 16 universities, and Knighthood in Germany. There are many others. He left us in 2015 at the age of 94, and leaves behind a rich and indispensable legacy. If you enjoy jazz, then you have most likely heard his sounds. If you don’t like jazz, why not give it a try. S.O.D. "Cry" by Faith Hill

2/15/2022 At the 45th Grammy awards in 2003, Hill won the Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. The song was originally written and composed by Angie Aparo in 1999. Hill’s version charted in 17 countries, landing at #1 in the US and Canada. You can see her in the western series “1883” alongside real life husband Tim McGraw. Outstanding performances by all, and a prequel to Yellowstone.
