S.O.D. "Faces & Names" by Lou Reed and John Cole

July 28, 2020 by Dave Hollifield

7/21/2020  Both, former members of the Velvet Underground, their idol was Andy Warhol.  Drella, a mix of Dracula and Cinderella, was created by Warhol’s admirers as a nickname.  Actually, Warhol was not too fond of this name.  The album, “Songs for Drella,” was released in 1990.  Cale and Reed are the only instrumentalists and vocalists on the album.
